Our chair is member of the German Network for Bioinformatics Infrastructure (de.NBI), a national infrastructure supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Within that network we are part of the Center for Integrative Bioinformatics (CIBI). Our project partners are:
- Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen with OpenMS
- Freie Universität Berlin with SeqAn
- Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics with Fiji
- Leibnitz Institute of Plant Biochemistry
Together we integrate their tools in KNIME, our open source data analysis platform. Our projects include:
- Generic KNIME Nodes, a framework for easily creating KNIME nodes from command line tools
- KNIME Docker exporter for creating Docker images from KNIME workflows
- Various nodes for accessing biological databases such as PRIDE, PubChem and PeptideAtlas
- Tools for sharing workflows easily, such as the KNIME myexperiment.com connector.
